Hi Everyone,

I hope this Monday was a good day for you. I know how Mondays can be tough after a good weekend.

I thought I would briefly talk about radiation treatment. Modern technology has allowed the radiation to be aimed more precisely and thus be more effective. One area that radiation is used is when prostate cancer is confined only to the prostate. One technique is when radioactive seeds are injected into the prostate and external radiation treatments are done for approximately six weeks. The seeds can also be injected without the external radiation. Another way is to have just the external radiation. The ability to aim the radiation more precisely increase effectiveness and reduces the side effects.
